Andreas Michael

Andreas is the Strategic Projects Lead at The Futures Trust, where he supports the Trust and its schools to deliver on their wide-ranging strategic objectives. His work spans innovative student-facing initiatives, internal improvement projects across all business functions, and pioneering new ways of working that drive long-term impact across the organisation.

Andreas graduated with a First-Class degree from the University of Manchester in 2012 before completing his PGCE with Teach First and working as an English and Drama teacher at Sidney Stringer Academy, Coventry. He later moved into Higher Education, where he managed teams delivering large-scale national projects that reached thousands of students and required careful stakeholder engagement.

In 2018, Andreas joined The Futures Trust, leading Careers strategy across its schools while also serving on the Senior Leadership Team at Barr’s Hill School for six years. There, he played a central role in designing and implementing a distinctive personal development curriculum that delivered outstanding student outcomes and destinations.

In his current role as Strategic Projects Lead, Andreas draws on this breadth of experience to oversee and deliver projects that strengthen the Trust’s ability to achieve its ambitions and provide exceptional opportunities for students and communities.
