Chris Jupp

Previously Chris was Headteacher of Barr's Hill School for 8 years, under his leadership the school moved from ‘floor’ to ‘Outstanding’ in a 6 year period that included the pandemic. 

Progress 8 moved from -0.49 to +0.8 with PP consistently above +0.5.  The school has since maintained performance in the top 2% nationally.  Prior to this, Chris worked as an Ofsted Inspector and worked on school improvement and educational transformational change projects within President Kennedy School where he was Deputy Head, and for the Trust Central Team.  Chris has been Vice Chair of the Coventry Secondary Partnership, currently sits on the Teach First Midlands Steering Group, and is an experienced school governor of both primary and secondary schools.
